What are Dissemination Conference Grants?

Dissemination Conference Grants provide financial support for Action Participants to present the work and achievements of a COST Action at international scientific conferences. These grants are designed to increase the visibility of the Action, promote its results, and foster new collaborations with external communities.

Objectives

• Disseminate Action results to a wider scientific and stakeholder community.

• Strengthen the visibility and impact of the Action at high-level conferences.

• Promote the integration of new partners and collaborations.

Who Can Apply?

• Action Participants with an active role in the Action.

• Applicants must have their abstract accepted for an oral presentation (poster presentations are not eligible).

• The presentation must acknowledge the COST Action.

Eligible Activities

• Oral presentation at a high-level international conference.

• Dissemination of Action-related research findings, methodologies, or tools.

• Engaging with new audiences and potential collaborators.

Financial Support

• Contribution to travel, registration, accommodation, and subsistence expenses.

• Maximum amount: EUR 2,000 for conferences held in Europe.

• Up to EUR 2,500 for conferences held outside Europe.

• Please note: this is a contribution, not full reimbursement of costs.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted via the e-COST platform and should include:

1. A completed application form.

2. Conference programme or abstract acceptance letter.

3. Short CV of the applicant.

4. A statement on how the presentation will contribute to the Action objectives.

Applications are evaluated and approved by the Management Committee (MC) of the Action.

After the Conference

• The grantee must submit a scientific report within 30 days after the event.

• The report should summarise the presentation delivered, networking outcomes, and benefits for the Action.

• Payment is made after approval of the report by the Management Committee.
